This is one of our favorite restaurants in Orlando. Whenever we come to town, we make it a point to get a meal here. The traffic near the restaurant was crazy because there were two concerts nearby that evening. The entrance to the parking garage we usually use was closed. We drove around the block to get into our secondary parking garage. Since the traffic was crawling, I called the restaurant to tell them our situation. They told me that they validated parking if we gave our phone number. This was the first time we ever heard this. This will make the experience so much better the next time we dine here. We had a slight wait for a table. There was a table in one of the front window alcoves that we were eyeing. To our surprise, we were able to get seated at that table which fulfilled our desire to have a private table. Our server, John, was one of the best. He made many recommendations which helped us pick the right items for our meal. We started with a Mai Tai and Orange Smash. I really enjoyed the Orange Smash. The two of us shared a Spinach Salad while enjoying the hot bread with their custom oil and seasoning dip. The NY Steak au Poivre with Grilled Shrimp and Seafood Misto hit the spot. The steak came with corn risotto, broccolini, and mushroom demi-glaze. The Seafood Misto consisted of Salmon, PEI Mussels, Shrimp, Bucatini, Gremolata, and Saffron Fume. Our favorite part of eating at Kres is the White Chocolate Bread Pudding. It is one of the best bread puddings we have ever tasted. It looks like an oversized muffin with whiskey and caramel sauces and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Amazing ambiance. Great food. Our server Natalia was fantastic! Def recommend this place and our server

I had an amazing experience at Kres Chophouse. They have a separate vegan menu with 3 courses (including desert) We are fully vegan, and we were served by Brandon C. who was incredibly knowledgeable about the vegan menu. He had great suggestions and everything I ordered was fantastic. I had the vegan salad wedge and the Salisbury steak and give it a 10/10. It was full of flavor and an excellent experience all around. There are few fine dining options out there for vegans so I was very pleased to be able to have such a lovely elevated experience in a beautiful restaurant coupled with amazing food and stellar service! I will absolutely be back.

This is one of the best steakhouses I've been to in a long time. Everything about this restaurant exudes class and elegance without being pretentious. First off, the ambiance allows for a quiet and intimate meal without feeling too stuffy. The restaurant has tables spread out so that diners can actually have a conversation without having to talk over diners nearby. The service was wonderful. Attentive without being overbearing. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food was simply divine. From the first bite of the bread they offered, we knew we were in for a treat. The sourdough was served with this delectable garlic dipping sauce. It made for the perfect bite to start our meal. We ordered oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. I cannot rave enough about them. Probably the best I've ever had. I only wish there were more in the dish. For my entree, I ordered the filet Wellington. It was delicious. Perfectly flaky puff pastry surrounding a perfectly cooked tender piece of filet. It melted in my mouth. Everything about the dish was amazing. My dining companions all loved their meals and didn't have one bad thing to say. I will definitely be coming back here!

Our party consisted of both vegans and omnivores, and we all left full & happy. Vibe was great, service was amazing. Speaking to the Vegan menu: WOW. The options are amazing and make it so difficult to decide. This ain't the average steakhouse, where a vegan may be able to get a dry baked potato or steamed veggies. I did the pre-fix menu, but switched out the dessert option for a second appetizer: - Baby Romaine "Bacon" Wedge: my favorite app, so incredibly delicious. The house ranch and tofu blue cheese were both creamy and packed with flavor. - "Oyster" Rockefeller: beautiful and creative - Vegan "Beef" Wellington: gorgeous, large portion. Tasty and filling. The Chimichurri Tofu Skewers and Hearts of Palm "Lobster" were the letdowns of the vegan menu for me. Tofu was too large/not marinated or flavored enough. Looking forward to my next Orlando visit to try whatever is on the fresh and thoughtful, printed-daily menu.

Wonderful time! Go to the bar - ask for Dave, or any bartender really - they were all so great! We headed in here before a show at Dr. Philips Center and sat up at the bar before our reservation time. We ended up loving the atmosphere and service at the bar and decided to stay up there for our food as well. I ordered the steak and shrimp which was cooked perfectly and the seasoning on everything was on point. The sides on my plate are not the usual ones that is served with those proteins, but was instead on another main dish, however, our bartender was gracious enough to let me swap them as I was very interested in those as an alternate. The restaurant itself is a good size with plenty of options for seating. I strongly recommend arriving early for bar seating, or make a reservation for table seating as it gets busy quickly after 5 p.m. Overall: A+ Excellent experience and we will be back!

Located in Downtown Orlando, Kres Chophouse is an independent steakhouse and staple restaurant. At Kres Chophouse, they live by three fundamental principles: Source, Service, and Style. Where they source, their food is extremely important to them. The service is unmatched. The style is such a vibe. It's red lit, sexy and seductive. They have all the classics, but a modern twist. They also have a vegan menu which is extremely rare for a steakhouse. I was very impressed with it. I had the seafood octopus and shrimp pesfasa and mixture of seafood tossed in a vinaigrette. It was so different and flavorful. It's very rare that I get to try some thing I haven't already had.

This is my absolute favorite chophouse in Orlando. It's the perfect place for date night or celebration. On the weekends there is normally valet but if not there is garage parking not far away. Inside is dark with red lighting throughout. I don't want to ruin it with pics so it'll be a surprise when you arrive. Make sure you make reservations a few days in advance because it fills up fast. The staff is very polite and the service is great. As far as the food you seriously can't get any better. We started with the carpaccio and oysters. The oysters are fresh and the carpaccio is seriously the best ever, it's my absolute favorite starter there. They give you bread with your orders so we always share the filet Wellington. If you've never had a Wellington before, you have to get it here. The portion size is perfect and the taste is unbelievable. Kres is 10/10 the best restaurant in the city.

Never anything less than 5 stars for Kres. Forget Morton's and Ruth's Chris, this is THE steakhouse in Orlando to go to for a splurge or special occasion. It has everything you could want in an upscale steak house - Romantic ambiance, stellar service, impressive wine/drink options & insanely great food that remains consistent with each visit. My boyfriend and I started off with the usual - Two appetizers to share. The oysters are always fresh and the carpaccio is out of this world ridiculously delicious (we can't seem to find another carpaccio that compares). Although we usually order wine, we decided to bring our own bottle this visit ($35 corking fee & they will serve it to you in a decanter upon request). After enjoying our appetizers, we shared our favorite entree here - The Beef Wellington. If you are a steak lover, order this and thank me later. It is melt-in-your-mouth, to die for good. If you have a large appetite, you can certainly eat it all on your own, but we choose to share as it's just the right amount after the two appetizers. The truffle fries were addictive and had just the right amount of truffle flavor. Whenever someone asks me for an Orlando steakhouse recommendation, Kres is always the first one to come to mind. Everyone I have reccomended Kres to reports back to me that they were somewhere between impressed and blown away. If you're a meat lover and you haven't been to Kres yet, you are genuinely missing out!

Surprisingly, one of the best steakhouse experiences ever. Sterling and Justin were the waiters for the night. When have you ever been asked for your name? My answer is never. Both waiters had the names for the table down and service simply couldn't have been better or more informative. The place itself feels like an old steakhouse and I believe it has been here for 20 years, so I guess it literally is. Inside is roomy and the table layouts give a good amount of variety for seating, plus it is not loud at all. For dinner, it was the Calamari "Vesuvio" to start. The serving size is pretty big on this one, so you might want to share for more than two people. The Chophouse Caesar - Crispy Points, Parmesan Cheese, Housemade Eggless Caesar Dressing, was good but not the best Caesar I have ever had. I take this as being more different than having anything wrong with it. The real hit of the night was the main meal of New Zealand Elk (8 oz. Filet). It was cooked perfectly and, over the suggestion of the mushrooms, it made for the ideal meal.
